Shipping & Returns

Shipping Information

At Something For Tom we have a range of products and services.  As such, our shipping information is broken down between these.  If you have any concerns or questions about your order, please do not hesitate to contact us.

When your order has been placed, a confirmation email will be sent immediately to your nominated email address.  If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us on 0423 365 766 so that we can ensure your order has been received.

We offer a flat rate shipping charge of $10 for all orders up to the value of $100.  Free shipping applies to orders over this value.

For Gift Hampers

All orders are processed within 24 hours.  Deliveries are sent during business hours Monday - Friday with the exception of our local deliveries for which we offer extended trading times.  For deliveries within Toowoomba we offer extended trading hours including weekends, public holidays and same day deliveries for orders placed by 6pm.

Toowoomba - same day delivery (including weekends and public holidays)

Queensland Metropolitan - 1-3 days

Queensland Regional - 1-7 days 

For all other areas, please allow 1-10 days from the time of shipment.


For Product Only Orders

All orders are processed within 24-48 hours.  Deliveries are sent during business hours Monday - Friday.  For orders placed on weekends and public holidays, these orders will be processed on the next business day.  In the case of any delay to processing times, you will be notified by email.

We do have a limited same day delivery service, available for orders shipped within Toowoomba.  Same day deliveries can be made on weekends, public holidays and after hours for all orders placed before 6pm (AEST).  A $10 surcharge may apply. 


If your order is urgent and you are concerned about the expected delivery time, please contact us and we will be able to assist you further.


Easy Returns & Exchanges

We offer a simple return process.  You may return or exchange purchase for any reason, including sale items, subject to adherence to these terms.

Returns or exchanges are accepted on items within 21 days from the date of shipment. Items returned outside this period will not be accepted.

Items must be in original condition and must not have been worn, altered or washed. All tags must remain in place. We suggest you check all items for sizing and defects as soon as they are received to ensure you are able to return items within our returns timeframe.


Please try on shoes on soft surfaces before they are worn generally. We will not accept shoes returned with sole markings or scratches. 

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers may not be returned and are valid for 1 year from the date of issue, and are valid for use online.

Gift Services

Any additional items added to your gift service, such as flowers and chocolate may not be returned.  Please contact us immediately if these items were not received in the condition you expected.


Return Steps

For returns and or exchanges, please email us via the contact page, and we will issue you with a unique returns code which will need to be included with your package.

For all returns, please either use a courier company of your choice or mail the item back to us.

Courier: For returns sent by courier, please use a reputable courier company such as Fastway Couriers and return your items to;

Express Mail: For returns sent by mail, please use an express postal service to ensure your item is received within the accepted timeframe. Please ensure you include a 'signature on delivery' requirement to the parcel. This will ensure your parcel is being received at the correct address and assist with extended delays and/or parcel rejection.

Please note items received outside of the specified returns period will not be accepted.

Once the items have been received they will undergo a quality review and once cleared, you will either receive your new item (for exchanges) or refund on the cost at purchase price (excluding original shipping cost) directly to the original method of payment used for purchase. We endeavour to process refunds as soon as they are received but please allow 5 working days for returns to be processed. You will receive email notification of the status of your refund or exchange once processed.

We do not refund initial shipping charges for items returned, other than for faulty items. Items we exchange will be resent at our cost. Your own return postage costs are not refundable. 

Something For Tom is not liable for the loss of garments being returned. We recommend using a traceable delivery method and taking note of your tracking number.
